YES! YES! YES!  The moment was just like you imagined!  He asked and you said YES!!!  The excitement has been growing with each person you show your fabulous ring and repeat your wonderful engagement story BUT then you have that quiet moment where you begin to fret and think……….Where do I start?  What do I do?  How will I plan my magical day?

Allow me to give you a little guidance to help get you on the right path.  My top 3 suggestions are:

1.)    Meet with Financial Contributors - Call a meeting between all parties who will be contributing towards your big day (bride, groom, parents, and/or future in laws).  While this may not be an easy conversation it is a necessary one.  The budget is one of the most sensitive subjects in the wedding planning process.  It is important to know up front how much each party is willing to  commit towards the budget.

2.)    Set A Budget:  Now that you know how much each party is contributing you can set a high level budget.  As you get into the planning process and with the help of a professional, you will allocate the funds to individual categories.  Your budget will be your blueprint throughout the planning process.  It is created to keep you on track and eliminate any last minute financial surprises.

3.)    Begin Interviewing Professional Wedding Planners (PWP)™:  This is one of the most exciting times of your life.  You should enjoy the entire experience, from the engagement to the last dance.  A PWP™ will make sure your wedding day is the day you have always dreamed of, delivered on time and on budget with minimum stress.

With these three key steps you are on your setting the stage to enjoy the moments; from engagement to the last dance.

We'd love to hear your thoughts and find out what helped get you on the right path.  Drop us an email today.
